No photos from me this week because I've been couped up in the house poorly. Got antibiotics today so I'm hoping to get rid of it over the weekend ready for a fresh start on Monday.

Autumn in the city.

Went out to take some photos in the park with Townie. Here she is setting up a slow exposure shot of the junction. Can you see the jogger too?

Digging over the veggie patch this afternoon I came across a few bonus spuds!

Missed hockey today thanks to a stinking Open Day but joined Lindsey, Lucy, Lucy and Alice at the Club and took a shot of this autumnal view over Holt's Field on my way there.

It was Open Day today and I was taken by surprise when these two women approached saying they knew me...well my sister really. It was her husband's Aunty and cousin. I last met them at Boo and Si's wedding in 1993 when Sarah was 2 and a curly haired bridesmaid.

I got home to a delicious Friday present. :-)

Today I had the acrylic nail removed from my thumb nail. It feels quite naked without it.

Poor Esther got the AJT treatment after the hockey meeting.

We remembered to collect Becca and Jodie from Afterschool Club - Alice beat me to them! Jodie chilled out on the beanbag with some toast and CBeebies while Becca coloured in some hearts.

WORD magazine arrived today with an interesting looking collection of songs for me. Now I need to make time to get them uploaded on to my iPod and give them a good listening to.

Met mum and dad for lunch at Sweeney Hall in Oswestery.

This is a bit of a catch up. On friday I just missed opening my blog page before midnight because we were at the Collier's. It was delicious prawn curry, cheesecake and Twilight night. Jodie was Singing in the Rain before she went to bed.

On Saturday it was the biggest annual event....Frog Night. Here is the Champion proudly holding the trophy which I'm assured will take pride of place in the living room ;-)

After a crappy day at work I was ready for a glass of wine - first of the week so not soooo bad. I opened this Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon 2007. I don't remember buying this so assume that someone bought it for us, but I'm ashamed to say I have no idea who. If it was you, thank you very much it is delicious!
