Today we went up Monte Baldo on the cable car and walked across to the chair lift.

Well...the taxi that came to take us to the airport turned out to be a jag so we travelled down the M56 in style...la di da!!

The end of the academic year...graduation!

5 days til holiday time and the washing fairy is very busy at our house.

In a fit of spontaneity we decided to go to the park to watch the last session of cricket. We forced our spontaneity on to the Colliers who got themselves out of the house with impressive speed. Jodie had a lovely time but seemed quite oblivious to the fact that there was a big screen or what we there for. The important thing was that there was face-painting.

This was the start of a memorable evening...red or white wine Beth? rock hard HP questions, who lives in a house like this?....and Top Trumps... 25!!!

Today is Harry Potter day. We joined the queue at about 6.30 for HP and the Half Blood Prince, and we got 5 seats together = perfect timing. 

We seem to have acquired an addition to the household this evening. 

Today we said goodbye to Rosie, Jo and Chris. But we'll see them again in Majorca in about 5 weeks when Rosie will be more than 50% older.

Today we met Rosie for the very first time. Photos are on proper camera so will follow in a day or so. 

At one end of Hope Street today Liverpool University students were graduating in The Philharmonic (Hall not pub!), at the other end John Moores University was recruiting students for 2010 entry at an open day. Oh....the cycle of H.E.!

This is a clue as to what I was supposed to be doing this evening...instead we went out to Vinci's. Well....I can run another day :-)

My boring day at work was rescued by a (long!) coffee break with these city shoppers who are modelling their purchases (shoes and sunnies).

Charlotte was the hostess with the mostess at the 'Thank you' soiree at the Art and Design Academy. Great views from the 4th floor! We could see Wales. 

Such a beautiful morning. We had time to cut sweet peas and breakfast outside and still make it  to work in good time. What a start to the day!
