Hmmm, first meal since Sunday evening.

Poorly me! Been off work today ... think eye of a needle! This was as far as I managed to get. Still willing Andy to win his 4th round match but might have to go back to bed and listen on the radio.

Sunday

It's a Knockout was very entertaining to watch. Then it was home for rissotto and G&T with Cal's fancy Tanqueray Ten. Nadine had a the brainwave of making a spring onion straw!

Saturday

Went to see Sunshine Cleaning at FACT and found this interesting contraption which is an interactive exhibition. If someone is sitting on the sofa in the cafe and you pedal then it crochets through a 'dolly'. Recommend the film btw.

Not sure why my head is so red...sun and wine perhaps?

We made the most of the beautiful evening with a walk to Calderstones Park where we had a go on the outdoor gym equipment.

Alice spotted this sign at Tesco...roll on Sunday!

Again I've spared you an image of stats geeks :-) Instead you have the water feature outside Sheffield Station. The shiny tube bit has water running over it and every so often the steam rises around  the fountain.

My walk back to Sarah's from the Uni after my course today took me past the Botanic Gardens. 

It was a plank off!

We came to Nottingham after work. Here is Jenny Facebooking. We tried to persuade her to have a farm; she's resisting at the moment but I sense weakening :-)

Another evening at the Gulshan acoustic night. New acts, but excellent as usual!

Got a lift home from work with Alice and we had the car washed on the way...how very shiny!

A flying visit to mum and dad's today to deliver dad's birthday present. 

We spent the morning doing jobs in the garden and then Cal dropped in to see us (from Kuwait!! well sort of!). In the afternoon we went to Tracy's to celebrate her award of INTERNATIONAL Policewoman of the Year and had a lovely time meeting up with people and enjoying the perfect weather, food, company and the beautiful garden.

These snails were hot(mono)footing it back into the safety of the shrubbery after being plucked from the day lilies by Becca and Jodie Alice.

A trip to Manchester for me today. Forgot to take a photo til I was on my way home tho, hence the shot of the station :-)

We had an Away Day at Ness Gardens today so I was reunited with their SLB.

Worked all day and evening at home...my only fresh air ( apart from a pop into the garden) was a stroll to the post box. Not even time for a run today - this is where I meet Lindsey when we run. 

We went to the Colliers for curry and to introduce them to poker... and of course facebook poker. Doesn't Ian look lovely with his fairy napkin!

Euro-election day. 

Trying to dry my hair before I go to bed....it'll never work.

Pup quiz at The Fulwood Arms and Lucy Day, who we haven't seen her for a good few weeks,  turned up. Alice expressed in a physical way how pleased we were to see her.
